I do love their sushi and the variety offered with their combos, however I made the mistake of going to their buffet on a Monday afternoon and the sushi was definitely not the freshest. Also it's very filling so personally, ordering combos are a better deal for me.
It's very refreshing to get a place that can take your attention away from burgers or chicken. Because that's the first items we think of when we want to eat out. So,we tried Asami's and wow a very very gud alternative to the above-mentioned fast foods. Stunning atmosphere and the location is beautiful. Kids loved it, because for them it was a food adventure coz they watch K dramas way too much. We loved the food and I would recommend it to anyone who want to try something else.
Such a sweet, friendly waitress. She never wore a name badge n never introduced herself. Food was fresh. We ordered the x3 sushi platter but pay for 2 special. With the crab n cheese spring roll starter. Delicious food, friendly service. Mocktails were very tasty.
The food was average. I've had a lot better. The service was good, the waiter came around a few times to check up on us. She also kept us up to date with our order because there was a bit of a delay which I didn't mind because I was informed of the delay and the reason. The atmosphere was terrible. Could be because the time I visited the place. The lighting was really poor.
Always a pleasure to eat sushi at ASAMI'S Tygervalley. Food is excellently prepared and very tasty. We always sit at the belt so there is no waiting for food. Ordered some prawn and salmon salads (included in the buffet) and that was very tasty. Ask your waiter what you can oder from the kitchen that is also included in the buffet offer. There is loads of extra stuff that you can get for free. Been here several times and will go again in future
